SCR to Run 34 More Special Trains for Sabarimala

Hyderabad: In order to clear extra rush of Sabarimala pilgrims, the South Central Railway will run 34 additional Sabarimala special trains between various destinations.

Accordingly, Hyderabad–Kottayam train (07065) will depart from Hyderabad at 12 noon and arrive Kottayam at 16.10 pm the next day. The date of the journey are January 7, 14 , 21 and 28 ; Kottayam–Secunderabad train (07066) will depart from Kottayam at 18.10 pm and arrive Secunderabad at 23.45 pm the next day. The date of journey are January 8, 15, 22 and 29.

En route, the special trains will stop at Begumpet, Lingampalli, Shankarpalli, Vikarabad, Tandur, Seram, Sulehalli, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Mantralayam, Adoni, Guntakal, Gooty, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Razampeta, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, and Ernakulam Town stations in both the directions.

Similarly, Moula Ali-Kottayam train (07167) will depart from MoulaAli at 14.30 pm and arrive Kottyam at 18.45 next day. The date of journey are January 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31; Kottayam–Secunderabad train (07168) will depart from Kottyam at 21.45 pm and arrive Secunderabad at 1.30 am on the next day. The date of journey January are 4, 11, 18, 25 & February 1. These special trains will stop at Cherlapalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam and Ettumanur stations in both the directions.

Kacheguda–Kottayam train (07169) will depart from Kacheguda at 12.30 pm and arrive Kottayam at 18.50 pm on the next day. The date of journey are January 5, 12, 19, 26; Kottayam–Kacheguda train (07170) will depart from Kottayam at 20.50 pm and arrive Kacheguda at 1.00 am on the next day. The date of journey are January 6, 13, 20 and 27.

These Special trains will stop at Malkajgiri, Cherlapalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam and Ettumanur stations in both the directions.

Moula Ali - Kollam (07171) will depart Moula Ali at 18.45 pm and arrive Kollam at 22.30 pm on the next day. The date of journey are January 4 , 11 , 18 and 25 ; Kollam - Moula Ali (07172) will depart on Kollam at 2.30 am and arrive Moula Ali at 11 am on the next day. The date of journey are January 6 , 13 , 20 and 27. These Special trains will stop at Bhongir, Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Kesamudram, Mahabubabad, Dornakal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podannur, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam, Ettumanur, Kottayam, Changanasseri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayamkulam stations in both the directions. The special trains consist of First AC, 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper Class and General Second-Class Coaches.
